Teacher Appreciation Night
On December 15, 2022, Gavilan Women's Basketball honored and celebrated all the wonderful instructors at Gavilan College who make a difference in the lives of our students daily. Each player chose an instructor to celebrate during half time as a small token of appreciation. Our student-athletes and coaches are grateful to you all!
Benjamin Bunting
I chose Professor Bunting because this is my second semester with him and I've really enjoyed the way he teaches and truly cares about making sure we understand what it is we are learning. He has been very helpful and understanding when I couldn't make it to his class, but always ensured to make sure I was caught up. I truly appreciate Professor Bunting and all he has done.

We thank you for always consistently checking up on us not only academically, but ensuring we are okay mentally. Thank you for always opening up your classroom for anything we may need and never failing to help us improve as students. We enjoyed every minute of your class and the pleasure of meeting you.
Nick Fortino
This is my first but definitely not my last time taking Professor Nick's class, for so many reasons. I appreciate how important and seen he makes all of us feel. I love feeling excited to go to class and learn in a therapeutic environment because of him!
Veronica Andrade
Professor Andrade was my teacher for 2 classes this semester. She is an amazing person and teacher. She truly loves her job and wants all her students to succeed. I really appreciated how understanding she was and how she was always willing to answer all my questions so I can have a better understanding. There aren't many teachers like Professor Andrade and I'm glad I took her class.

Philip Avila
Professor Avila was a teacher that provided constant support and made learning fun. I appreciate all of the efforts that were put into this class and the bond that Avila created with all of the students. It was a great semester and made my first year at Gavilan a memorable one.

Professor Indira, Is one of the most wonderful and supportive instructors. She Always makes sure we are doing well outside and inside the classroom. Also, she is the best coach I've ever had. Thank you for all that you do daily.

Professor Palsgrove, I appreciate all your hard work and dedication you provide to many students including myself. I enjoy being in an educational environment where I can connect with my instructors and feel confident to share my voice whether it is a class discussion or a 1 on 1 conversation. Thank you for pushing students like myself to not give up and work hard even when things get difficult. I am grateful for all the educational opportunities you have provided me with and all the knowledge I have gained from your class.

This is my second year taking his AJ classes and I have learned so much!
