Rams close out 2025 season at Hartnell

SALINAS – The 2025 Gavilan College football season officially came to an end with the Rams' 34-12 loss at Hartnell College on Saturday.

It was a tough first-season for new Gavilan head coach Joffre Longoria. The Rams compiled a 1-9 overall record and went 0-5 in the Golden Coast League. But the Rams will look to improve during the offseason in preparation for next year.

On Saturday, freshman quarterback Ethan Chrisman tossed a pair of touchdown passes. He connected with Jaroi Hardwick for an 11-yard TD in the second quarter and hit Siro Lauchlan with a 29-yard touchdown in the third to close out the Rams' scoring.

Chrisman capped his season for the Rams completing 13 of 23 passes vs. Hartnell for 135 yards. Lauchlan was Gavilan's top receiver with 5 catches for 50 yards.

Houstyn Lee-Perry led Gavilan on the ground, rushing 17 times for 78 yards. Ayjyan Johnson also had 17 carries for 76 yards.

On defense, Jaime Gonzales and Juel Martinez both had 6 tackles each with an interception.
